Italy's new prime minister Mario Monti today ended discussions with other parties to form a new government and he hopes to have in 2013 in order to solve the economic problems sweeping the country.

This morning, he met representatives of the two largest political bloc, PDL party of former Prime Minister Berlusconi has resigned and left-wing Democrats, the trade unions, representatives of youth groups and women .
